Steal an Egg is one of those Roblox games that look simple and then keep you glued to the screen for hours. The whole idea fits in one sentence: get to where the eggs are, grab one without getting caught and hatch it at your base, so the pet inside makes you money nonstop. With that money you upgrade, go after better eggs and start again, faster and further every time.
What the game is about
You start with an almost empty base and no pets. The first thing you'll notice is that you're slow, and in this game speed is everything. To run faster you train on the treadmills around the map: the better the treadmill, the more speed you gain. And speed isn't just for escaping: each biome on the map needs a minimum speed to get in, so training is what unlocks new areas.
The biomes are the fun part. Each one has its own style, its own eggs and its own guardian: a creature that protects the eggs in that area and comes after you the moment you grab one. That's the key moment of the game: snatch the egg, sprint to the safe zone and make it back to your base. If you get caught, you lose it and have to try again.
Eggs, pets and money
When you bring an egg back to your base, it hatches into a pet. Pets come in rarities, from common ones up to the hardest to get, and each one makes a certain amount of money per second while it's placed in your base. The rarer the pet, the more it earns. So the real goal isn't having lots of pets, it's having the best ones placed right.
Then there are mutations, special variants that multiply what a pet earns. Some come from hatching eggs, others from machines in the game, like the fuse machine, or during events. A good pet with a good mutation can earn far more than several normal ones together, which is why a lot of players spend hours hunting for mutated eggs.
Events and updates
The game gets updated often. Every so often there are events with limited eggs, special shops and new ways to get mutations, and the developers themselves run live events where things show up that you normally never see. Miss an event and some pets never come back, so it pays to keep an eye out.
Since it changes so much, the exact names, amounts and multipliers may not match what you see in the game today. What I describe here is what shows up in the video; for exact numbers, always check the game.
Why people use scripts here
Steal an Egg has a lot of grinding: training speed, running to the biomes and back, checking egg after egg for the one with a mutation, and moving your pets around when you get a better one. Scripts for this game usually automate exactly that: stealing eggs without making the trip by hand, filtering eggs by rarity or mutation so you only keep the ones worth it, or hopping servers looking for rare eggs.
In the video I show how this script works, what options it has and how it looks in game. Remember it's not a Cookies Hub script: another creator made it and you use it at your own risk. Using scripts can go against Roblox's and the game's rules, so if you try it, an alt account is the safer bet.
What the script does
This is what the menu in the video shows (version 4.5):
- Steal Eggs: pick the area, category, rarity and mutation you want, a target priority (for example highest earnings) and a minimum $/s. Then turn on Auto Steal Selected, or Auto Steal All to grab everything.
- Steal method: straight or tweened, with an adjustable tween speed.
- Defense: Bat Kill Aura with adjustable range and attack delay, Auto Equip Bat, Anti-Kill and Anti-Trap.
- Upgrades: Auto Equip Best Pet, Auto Treadmill Training, Auto Treadmill Upgrade and Auto Base Upgrade, with a cash reserve so it doesn't spend everything.
- More tabs for Automation, Events and Misc.
Supported executors
According to its creator, Xeno and Solara are not supported by this script. If you use either of those, it won't load: try another executor.
Before you press "Get script"
- The button opens a Pastefy page with a single line of code, the
loadstring. Copy the whole line and paste it into your executor while you're in Steal an Egg. - That loadstring downloads the script from Luarmor, a key service, so it may ask you for a key before it opens.
- A Roblox script is just text you paste into your executor. It's never an .exe, an .apk or a browser extension.
- If any page asks for your Roblox password or to turn on notifications, close it.
- If the script stops working after a game update, that's normal: wait for its creator to update it.
And if you liked the showcase, check out the channel, I try new scripts every week.
